What is Paragraphﾅ.
Paragraph is a group of sentence that consist of Topic sentence and Supporting sentence. Topic sentence is usually the first sentence of the paragraph and it will give us an Overview of the paragraph. A good topic sentence can inform the reader of the subject that will be discussed in the paragraph, it must be interesting, it can create a sense of action and it is not vague, rambling, too narrow or too broad. Supporting sentences come after topic sentence, the function of supporting sentence is to develop the main idea because it will give specific details related to the topic sentence.
A good paragraph must have:
a. A topic sentence
b. Supporting sentence
c. Logical and
d. A concluding idea
According in my opinion, there are 7 types of paragraph :
1. Narration
2. Exposition
3. Definition
4. Description
5. Comparison
6. Process analysis and
7. Persuasion
